Video production summer camp for students in grades 6-11

Tri-Valley Community Television offers affordable video production services to a variety of clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors, and classroom training and workshops in video production through the Tri-Valley Regional Occupational Program.
This (2011) summer, they are offering a summer camp for middle and high school students who are considering a career in video production. The 20-hour TV day camp includes an introduction to studio and field production, writing, and digital video editing.

This unique TV Camp includes an introduction to studio production, field production, writing, producing and digital video editing. Participants will work within a group to produce a TV program. The fee is $495 and registration is limited. The camp sessions were sold out well in advance in the last two years they have been held.

When is it?
The day camp runs from 9a-1p on the following dates:

  • Session 1: June 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 (9a to 1p each day)
  • Session 2: August 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 (9a to 1p each day)
