Livermore temple has been participating, since 2013, in the annual Rodeo parade of the City of Livermore. Our volunteers decorate a truck with posters & banners of our culture & HS activities and display it as float / tableau for the parade.

Over last year or so, as the user base of this site neared 2500, there were a few posts coming from the Tri-City area of Fremont, Newark, and Union City as well. That someone should set up a site for that area as well became a refrain I would hear again and again, in emails and discussions. We are looking for a few fun, mature, responsible people to join our team in teaching drawing classes. You will be teaching Drawing and Cartooning lessons to Preschoolers and Elementary age children in a classroom setting. No degree is necessary – just a love for children and art. India Independence Day 15th August Celebrations 2011 – Fremont Festival of India
This year again, The Federation of Indian Associations is organizing the grand mela and parade on August 13-14th. The mission of these India Independence Day festivities is to promote unity in diversity and democracy and build healthy relationship between various Indian and American communities. Folks from Tri Valley area have traditionally attended this biggest Indian mela in the bay Area with enthusiasm.

The Festival of India Banquet Night would be held in San Jose Airport Garden Hotel on Sunday night.
