Hi Neighbors – This year’s International Math Evaluation contest will be on March 18th at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
IMEC 2018 is organized by the International Math Teaching Association and co-organized by MPM Educational Institute.
This test is for MPM and Non-MPM students.
Students will receive a performance report 30 days after the contest.
The first, second, and third best contestants, along with honorable mentions from each grade level, will be invited to an award ceremony held at the Milpitas Community Center on May 13, 2018. The registration is now open.
Entry fee of $40 is payable by check to MPM Educational Institute. ($60 for walk-in registration at the Convention Center on the test date).More information can be found in the website: www.imecjunior.com

Soccer Clinic May 13 at DVHS
Hello all players and parents! My name is Vaibhav Naidu, and I am currently a junior and varsity soccer player at Dougherty Valley High School. Soccer has been a personal passion for me since I was 6 years old, and has largely shaped me into the person I am today. I now hope to share a similar gift with the youth of this generation. My friends and I started the Soccer Without Borders club at DVHS, with the hope that we can coach kids in the immediate community, as well as raise money to provide equipment and coaching for eager players without the same opportunities that we were given.
Our club is currently hosting a clinic this weekend from 10-1 on Saturday, May 13 at the Dougherty Valley High School.
The price to participate is $20, with an additional $10 for a Soccer Without Borders t-shirt! 100% of the proceeds go towards helping underprivileged kids, and the organization Positive Tracks has agreed to match the value of our donations. Please sign up and spread the word!

For those who are new to MPM, MPM is a well-sequenced math program designed around the concepts of Multi-Process and Multi-Model mathematics for K to 6-grade students. It helps students to develop their skills in problem solving and independent logical thinking.
The program is in-line with Common core mathematics and also with the Eureka Math,which the SRVUSD adopted this year.

IMEC 2016 – International Math Evaluation and Contest-Lotus Learning Center
Hi Neighbors, We wanted to share the information about the Math Contest which is happening on the March 13,2016 at Santa Clara Convention Center.
The IMEC is an annual competitive math event for K to 6th grade students. The questions in the contest are designed for each grade level to generate interest in math for students and to help parents acknowledge the progress of their children’s math development.
The IMEC is designed to stimulate interest in mathematics for young students through challenging problems, competitive experience, and rewards..
