Input Needed for the San Ramon Senior Needs Assessment
The City of San Ramon Parks and Community Services Department seeks to assist Older Adults in remaining active, healthy, and independent by offering recreational programs and services. These services include providing classes and fitness activities, informative presentations, day excursions, and limited social services. Please take a moment to fill out the survey using the link below to help us better understand the needs of Seniors living in and around San Ramon.
The San Ramon Summer Concert features VDaze on Sunday
The San Ramon Summer Concert Series features VDaze on Sunday, August 1 at 5:30pm in the Central Park Amphitheatre. Join friends and family for an evening of the most loved Bollywood Music. Bring a blanket or a low-back lawn chair and be ready to stand up and dance the night away! Food from Crazy Empanadas and Golden Gate Gyro, wine, beer, soda, and water will be available for purchase. FREE Admission! For more information, visit www.sanramon.ca.gov/parks. Please be considerate and set up shade tents and umbrellas at the top of the hill to avoid impeding the view of others.
Camp Central Summer Camps – San Ramon
The City of San Ramon’s Camp Central is an award winning flexible full or half day summer program that provides fun, educational and active experiences for children all summer long. Each week you can choose a morning and/or afternoon camp as well as the extended care options that you need. Camp Central offers many different camps to choose from including Visual and Performing Arts, Sports, and Enrichment.
Camp Central is offered at two facilities this summer. Within Central Park, utilizing the San Ramon Community Center and Iron Horse Gym, and at Dougherty Station utilizing the Community Center and Windemere Ranch Middle School.

San Ramon Summer Camps at Camp Central
The City of San Ramon’s Camp Central Program is in its 7th year of offering a flexible and convenient summer camp options. Camp Central fits into any San Ramon family! Do you need activities for your children this summer that are fun, active and foster learning? Are you looking for the convenience of an all-day program, or do you want to pick and choose based on a changing schedule? Camp Central is the answer to all these questions and more!
Camp Central offers 15-20 different camps each week include arts, dance, theater, science, engineering, academic, sports, and traditional day camps. Full day or half day programs with extended care are available. Try something new each week.
We have camps such as Adventure Club which is a traditional outdoor camp where campers play games, activities and crafts around a weekly theme. Some themes this year include superheroes, Minecraft, pirates and the Wild West. We also have our Crazy 4 Sports program where campers play 4 different sports or sport variations such as crab soccer, water balloon volleyball, and capture the flag. We also have water games every Friday! The camps offered at Camp Central are fun, exciting and help develop campers socially and mentally.
There are 2 locations to choose from: Central Park utilizes both the San Ramon Community Center and Iron Horse Gym, and Dougherty Station utilizes the Community Center and Windemere Ranch Middle School.
